How we make money
One way only: when you book a private transfer in the Kiwitaxi box on this site, Kiwitaxi pays us a commission. The only other thing we show is one small card, labelled “Ad”, for bigbus.tours, a tours and tickets site from the same publisher. No ad networks, no other paid links and no money from any operator.

Today
We earn only from private transfers booked in the Kiwitaxi box.
Every other link to an operator is a plain link. Nobody pays us when you click it, buy a train ticket or book a car anywhere else. The one exception is the “Ad” card: it appears once, on your first click, and closes by itself. It points to bigbus.tours, a sister site that earns commission on tour bookings. Nothing is loaded from that site unless you press the card, and then it opens in a new tab. If any of this changes, this page changes first.
How it works
Keeping the guide accurate takes time, because every fare and timetable is re-read by hand. To pay for that, the site carries a booking box from Kiwitaxi, a company that sells pre-booked private transfers, the cars you book in advance to meet you at arrivals or collect you from your door. We joined Kiwitaxi's programme through Travelpayouts, a travel affiliate network, and the box was added on 29 September 2026. If you book a transfer in that box, Kiwitaxi pays us a commission through Travelpayouts. The price you pay is the one Kiwitaxi shows you; we add nothing to it.
The box is on the private transfers page, on each route page under the comparison, in the guide to when a private transfer beats the train and under the result of the train or transfer calculator. It is never on the live boards, the station pages or pages like this one. It loads nothing until you press its button, "Show Kiwitaxi prices". Kiwitaxi is not one of the firms whose fixed prices we list; its prices are its own.
We earn nothing on train, coach or bus tickets, on taxis you book elsewhere, or on any other link on the site.
The rules we have set ourselves
- Never on train tickets. We take no commission on rail fares. A train is the right answer for many journeys from Gatwick, and we want it to stay obvious that we gain nothing from saying so.
- Never in the ranking. Our pick on each route, and the order of the comparison, come from journey time, price, how often a service runs and when it stops. The Kiwitaxi box is not one of those inputs, is not in the comparison and sits below it. If a train is the better answer, the train stays on top.
- Always labelled. The box says next to it, in plain words, that we earn a commission if you book through it. A link of ours that points to Kiwitaxi is marked as sponsored in the page code (
rel="sponsored noopener") so search engines know too. - Only when you choose it. Nothing from Kiwitaxi or Travelpayouts loads until you press "Show Kiwitaxi prices". Nothing opens a booking site for you, and nothing changes the page you are reading until you ask.
What we will never do
- Send a link of ours through tracking redirects, or somewhere other than where it says it goes.
- Publish coupon, voucher or promo codes, or "exclusive deals" that exist only to earn a click.
- Hide paid links inside ordinary text, or make a sponsored link look like an independent one.
- Load a booking company's script, or let it set cookies, before you press the button that asks for it (see the privacy notice).
- Accept payment from an operator for a better position, a kinder review or a different pick.
- Sell or share your email address or anything else you send us.
